The Accommodation Service is looking for an enthusiastic customer focussed individual to work within the central office supporting residents, and prospective applicants, on all aspects of living in the halls of residence, as well as offering support regarding the private rental market.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with tact, discretion, and the ability to deal professionally and empathetically with our diverse students, LSBU colleagues’ external partners and agencies.
This is a varied and challenging role focussing on the key priorities and critical needs of the student to ensure the student experience is not compromised. You will have a good educational background, with degree level or equivalent qualifications, with previous administrative experience in a similar environment, and a passion for providing an excellent front facing support service.
You will be skilled with the Microsoft office suite and have some understanding of accommodation software and enquiry management. Experience of planning and prioritising operational activities with attention to detail is essential.
Details about the role
Permanent position 35 hours a week 9am – 5 pm Mon/Fri. There will be times when support is required at open days and arrivals which involve weekend work.
Whilst the University offers hybrid due to the nature of the role it is expected you will work on campus.
