Job Purpose
The primary focus of the role is to build and maintain existing accounts to achieve long term partnerships by ensuring delivery of service to the satisfaction of the clients whilst also maintaining or improving account revenues.
This will primarily be achieved through learning and understanding of all products and services and the selling of these to the clients the Executive is responsible for.
It is the responsibility of the Account Executive to maintain accurate records, keeping a track on any contracts, renewals and annuals as well as contact details and notes within Simpleview systems.
Special Competencies (Duties and Responsibilities)

Influencing and negotiating

  • Advising clients about additional products and services and encouraging them to adopt them through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods.
  • Communicating, liaising, and negotiating internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
  • Client management
  • Maintaining effective professional relationships with clients through regular contact account management which includes regular face to face meetings; telephone and e-mail communications.
  • Dealing with queries from clients, responding quickly, professionally, and accurately.
  • Managing and updating all client records in the company CRM and ensuring that all traces and activities are reacted to in a timely manner.

System knowledge (usage and interpretation)

  • Working with the Account Managers to monitor the usage and performance of end users to best support on getting the most from the products and services already purchased.
  • Building up knowledge and understanding of all Simpleview systems and controls.
  • Building up and maintaining a detailed knowledge about the DMS and its functionality / modules and contributing ideas and suggestions to the development of the DMS platform. Attending training, support and updating sessions as required.

Selling and business development

  • Acting as a mediator between the product, project and support managers and clients when delivering products and services.

Industry knowledge and trend awareness

  • To spot opportunities for new developments and to help the client conceptualise their requirements. (NB. It will always be beneficial to secure funding to support this type of work and will increase the likelihood of the development proceeding.)
