Area Retail Manager for The Cornish Oven Ltd

What does that mean?

We are looking for someone to join the management team here at The Cornish Oven who will help us oversee the day to day running of our six shops and help us to open more!

Do you have what it takes to be part of a family run, busy Cornish pasty company here in the heart of Cornwall?

What will you be doing?

Everything! The role is never dull and includes various aspects. You must be comfortable with being flexible and adapting to a changing environment. You will be based at the Head Office but have a regular presence in the shops. There are core duties that include:

• Overseeing the day to day running of our busy pasty shops.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Answering the phone, emails and completing a range of IT based tasks.
• Handling food hygiene, H&S, new products, offers, promotions.
• Advertising and interviewing for additional staff.
• Offering support and encouraging others to shine.
• Helping to open new shops and cafes.
• Sampling pasties!

What Qualities Are We Looking For?

• Someone who is energetic and willing to motivate people.
• Passionate about customer service.
• Patient, kind and loyal.
• Open to new ideas and happy to adapt when needed.
• We would like at least two years area management experience.
