Job Description :

ASSISTANT CHIEF EXECUTIVE (Place)

£92,000 - £107,100 p.a.

Does your drive and track record match our ambition?

In Runnymede we are proud of the regeneration we have achieved in recent years, alongside our excellent core services and the protection and enhancement of our highly prized environment.

Situated in one of the very best locations for access to international infrastructure and all the benefits offered on the fringes of London, it is little wonder that people and businesses want to be here. This is a key part of the Council’s role in managing these intense pressures and in taking the opportunities they offer.

At the same time, we need to plan for the aspirations of our young people, look after a growing elderly population and ensure that the local economy thrives.

The Assistant Chief Executive opportunity at Runnymede offers the scope you are looking for to make your mark and to build on your track record.

You will lead on the improvement of our borough, but also oversee the housing, planning and environmental teams.

If you can provide effective strategic and operational leadership both to your service areas and as part of the corporate leadership of the Council and have a vision for ‘place’ that inspires, then this may be exactly what you are looking for.
