Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Milestone Infrastructure Ltd, is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on our Devon contract in the East of the county.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be part of our Commercial Team.

Milestone Infrastructure look after 24,000 miles of roads, 280,000 lighting assets and 20,000 miles of footways, always with a view to ensuring that all works are carried out as sustainably as possible and with minimal impact to local communities.

As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • Assist the QS with the measurement and recording of works providing photographic and documentary evidence obtained from site visits
  • Input of measures into Works Request Payment through I-Ways
  • Monitor progress of Applications and Disputes
  • Assist the Agents with the weekly cost value reconciliation for all gangs
  • Assist the Agents with the Contract Reviews and identify change on site
  • Assist the QS with subcontract Requisitions and Orders

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Experience of commercial activities in a Highways environment
  • Working towards Degree or Professional qualification preferred but not essential
