Job Description:

Eurasia Group and it's media company, GZERO Media, convene Fortune 500 CEOs, heads of state, and thought leaders to discuss where the world is headed and what it means for societies, markets, economies and industries. Through our world-class virtual and in-person conferences, livestreams and roundtables, we create platforms for thoughtful debate on urgent issues ranging from climate change to health security, and cybersecurity to economic development.

Eurasia Group’s events division is seeking an Associate Director to co-manage a portfolio of global events. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in events management, operations and client relations. The ability to work under pressure, think critically, communicate effectively, and collaborate across multiple functions and time zones are key.

This role will be based in London.


Responsibilities:


  • Work with colleagues across functions and geographies to deliver high-quality virtual, in-person and hybrid events in line with Eurasia Group’s strategy
  • Act as clients’ key point of contact and strive to fulfil their partnership/sponsorship objectives
  • Manage projects from start to finish, overseeing production, operations, budgets, vendor sourcing and negotiations, project-management tools and trackers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 7+ years of event management experience, preferably running virtual and in-person events
  • Exceptional project management and client management skills
  • A creative, innovative mindset with a collaborative attitude
  • The ability to anticipate problems and implement quick and agile solutions
  • Experience setting and managing budgets, targets, and success metrics
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and organizational skills
