We have a fantastic opportunity for a reliable Barrell Driver to deliver fuel products to our customers in and around the London area operating from our yard in Iver, SL0 9HF.

About the role:

You will be delivering barrels & cans of fuel aswell as using a hose reel when required whilst adhering to assigned routes and times schedules. Working as a vital part of the transport team, ensuring that all items are complete, packed correctly and safely delivered to our customers. Full training will be provided.

Barrell Driver Responsibilities:

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Covering emergency deliveries as and when required.
• Carrying out fuel uplifts and fuel spillage clean ups.

Location & commitments:

• Full-time, permanent contract £32,000 per annum (overtime paid @ time & a half)
• 6am – 4pm Monday-Friday — 50 hours per week with 1 hour for lunch. Required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays.
• Based out of our Iver depot, Thorney Business Park, SL10 9HF.
• 25 days holiday.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Valid UK driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• ADR advantageous but not essential.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Physically fit as the role does requirement manual handling of heavy products
• Attention to detail
