An exciting new opportunity has arisen at Hallmark Care Homes for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team to contribute to Hallmark’s continued growth and success. This role will include helping to understand the current organisational situation, identify future needs and create solutions in relation to data, information, processes and software systems.

The successful candidate will need to build an excellent understanding of the way Hallmark Care Homes operates in the sector and will work closely with stakeholders to develop functions, services and products to achieve stakeholder goals. Gathering and compiling comprehensive technical documentation will be an essential part of this role.

The Business Analyst will also play a key role in communicating between internal departments and external parties, acting as a ‘translator’ where necessary to convey how information technology can support the organisation’s needs and improve efficiency.

This will initially be a 12 month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent role after 12 months. The role will be predominantly working remotely with occasional site visits to some of our care homes as and when required.

Who are we looking for?

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar Business Analyst role
• ERP integration experience (preferable)
• Experience of building BI reports in an ERP environment
• Excellent technical writing skills are required and strong verbal communication skills
• Process mapping skills
• Skilled in Excel
• Excellent people skills, able to build trust and effective working relationships quickly
• Good communicator who can effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in science, technology, maths or engineering
