Your purpose:

As a Business Analyst in Specsavers Supply Chain function, you will bring your specialist skills to support significant business change to Specsavers to realise efficiency opportunities and support the business to grow.


Your main focus will be to support the mapping of the current ‘as is’ state of various systems and processes within the product categories and propose the future state ‘To Be’ processes which will deliver clear benefits and efficiencies in people’s responsibilities, process enhancements and systems recommendations (as appropriate).


Your role

  • Work closely with the Director of S&OP, Head of PMO and S&OP Manager to establish a Statement of Work for each category, including agreed timescales, to understand the objectives, scope, constraints, and dependencies for the work required.
  • Prepare and facilitate workshops to gather and prioritise business requirements with key stakeholders from the categories.
  • Run workshops with stakeholders to map ‘as is’ processes, capturing conversations and information live to enable accurate mapping post workshop and making the best use of stakeholder’s time
  • Identify pain points and duplication within current processes and propose potential changes and improvements and their impacts to support effective decision-making and implementation plans.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders across Specsavers Supply Chain, the wider business and externally, to offer a value-adding service and to keep them updated with plans/ progress.

What you’ll bring

  • Thorough understanding and demonstration of business analysis tools and techniques (e.g. Visio, BPMN2)
  • Expert user of MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, with the ability to produce strong visual outputs
  • Ability to interview, listen intently & map out processes with a range of key stakeholders – creating agendas and delivering workshops/ meetings to elicit key information
  • Experience of organisational design methodology, outputs, and process design
  • Highly skilled in stakeholder management, communication, collaboration and listening

Desirable

  • BCS, IIBA or other recognised professional business analyst qualifications
  • Supply Chain experience
