You will be responsible for ensuring that the client; business and production team are supported throughout the life cycle of an on-board. It is essential you have a strong Know Your Client (KYC), operational and control background to anticipate and identify issues upfront. Ensuring files are right first time by completing an initial review of the KYC file managing messaging to the business in a clear and concise manner managing daily Management Information and prioritisation will be a critical part of their responsibility.

Your key responsibilities

  • Detailed initial review of case files, identifying gaps in the front office submission to review new and existing regulatory and KYC requirements, understand the impact, and operationalise

  • Responsible for ensuring that cases are prioritised and managed effectively and consistently in line with the agreed process and Service Level Agreement’s; ensuring that all aspects of delivery are running effectively

  • Work collectively with the Front Office Periodic Review and Anti Financial Crime (AFC) function to ensure full transparency and improve turn-around times. Also dealing with senior stakeholder management across numerous business functions as and when needed

  • Understanding of the risk associated with specific entity / client types and evaluating the case risk as a result

  • Ability to understand complex AFC rules and interpret them well enough to apply to on boarding process. Thus, acting as a role model in relation to the values and beliefs and manages the function in line with internal policies and guidance and regulatory requirements

  • Ability to deliver Key Performance Metrics to senior business managers. Ability to translate outputs into deliverables and actions. Ensure that the actions are followed through and measured

Your skills and experience

  • Relevant experience in Client On-boarding processes and requirements

  • Understanding of KYC, AFC, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and other regulatory requirements

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organisational, prioritisation, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills. Open minded, able to share information, knowledge and expertise with peers and team members

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal a second language will be preferred (German)

  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience
