Here at the AA, our insurance department are recruiting a range of Claims Handlers across multiple teams including Recovery, Interventions, Fault and Liability. Our Claims Advisors put our customers at the heart of what we do by providing them an exceptional level of service, and are fundamental to the growth of the AA as they ensure professional and efficient management of all claims from cradle to grave!
You’ll have the opportunity to work autonomously, ensuring each claim is proactively managed. Keeping our customers updated your role will be to manage their expectations and provide an outstanding customer journey until the claim is successfully finalised.
As a confident communicator, you’ll be on the phone liaising with third party insurers to negotiate settlement of our claims. Using tactics to encourage the reimbursement of costs within a fast timeframe, you’ll need to be proactive and use a variety of communication methods, from telephone to email or updating our system. Attention to detail is key as you manage your own portfolio of claims and see them through to settlement, handling any disputes along the way, with a commercial view to settling the claims with high success. Day to day your role will look different, so resilience is key as you adapt to the variety of tasks that come your way
