The post holder will support the provision of student information and intelligence within the Student Reporting Team to ensure the business needs of the University are met.

Duties will include the compilation of statutory statistical returns required by external agencies such as HESA, OfS and the ESFA. Extract, analyse and present data from the University’s student record system to respond to data requests and support the production of regular statistical reports.

The successful candidate must have GCSE’s or equivalent in English and Mathematics and be either educated to degree level or have equivalent work experience. You will demonstrate the ability to analyse and present large complex datasets, have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Word and demonstrate the ability to learn report writing skills such as SQL Reporting Services. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to represent the University to external bodies in a professional manner.
