Bring your data science expertise to the table and help craft the way we use Data Science to provide key actions to the wider business!

Core Responsibilities:

We need data science capabilities to discover deeper insights, make predictions, and generate recommendations in a rapidly growing reality. Using data insights to drive business decisions and understand customer behaviour is a key strategic focus for us. Our function provides with these insights, using data science approaches and techniques to perform predictive, prescriptive, and diagnostic analytics.

Play your part in our team succeeding:

  • Cleaning and interrogating large data sets to understand trends and pull-out general insights.
  • Developing advanced machine learning models – both for planning scenarios and optimisations.
  • Interpreting and delivering clear insights and recommendations to business partners within the business, using the most appropriate tools.
  • Collaborating with business partners to ensure that data science work is delivering real value.
  • Staying up to date with all the latest ground-breaking technologies such as computer science fundamentals and programming.

Do you have what it takes?

You come a background with emphasis on one or more of the following: data science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or equivalent quantitative subject area. A PhD is a bonus not a must. Ideally, you:

  • are comfortable using SQL/HQL (Hadoop, Hive) and have exposure of R or Python. Additionally it will be a plus if you are familiar with DataBricks.
  • have experience with regression and time-series analysis.
  • are familiar with data visualisation tools, in particular Power BI. You have also had exposure to Power Apps.
  • can translate technical content to business audiences.
  • are willing to travel occasionally (less than 20% overall).
  • are fluent in English both written and spoken.
