Our community pharmacy in Dundee, St Marys is looking for a motivated new team member!

This would be a part-time contract for 2 hours per day (10 hours per week), working times flexible but must be PM. You will have the use of a company vehicle.

What does the job entail

As a Pharmacy Delivery Driver, your overall responsibility will be to carry out the delivery of medication to patients’ homes and collection of prescriptions from GP surgeries. You will work as part of the Pharmacy team, under the guidance of the Pharmacist in a respectful and supportive environment, providing a high-quality service to our patients and customers.

In the role of Pharmacy Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the handling of important medication and ensuring it is delivered to the correct patient.

You will be a friendly and motivated individual to help us continue to provide a first-class service to our patients. You will be interested in playing an important role within our trusted team in making a difference in the local community.

You will be dealing with vulnerable people within the community therefore you must understand the importance of always carrying out your job in a professional and confidential manner.

You will have good communication skills as you will need to relay appropriate advice and provide support to patients at the point of delivery. You will act as an interface between the patient and our team back in the Pharmacy.

You will need to hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
