SHARK LOGISTICS are a rapidly expanding business who have contracts with the world’s largest online retailer. Our company specialise in last mile delivery to thousands of happy customers per day! We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, ensuring we go above and beyond for our customers.

About the job:

Your typical day will consist of arriving at the compound in Marchwood to collect your assigned van. You will then sign into our delivery app on your phone, complete van safety checks, then head to the depot to collect your parcels and load your van. You will have a pre-planned route and navigation is done for you via the delivery app. The app tells you what deliveries to do, and in what order. Each route is scheduled for 8 hours from your loading time in the morning. Then you will head off to deliver your parcels to customers across the Southampton area.

Before you start on road, you will be given 2 days fully paid classroom training. After this, you will also have 2 fully paid on road ride-alongs with one of our experienced drivers who will give you hands on practical training delivering to our high standard. During your practical training you will learn how the delivery app works, how to correctly complete deliveries and get comfortable driving the van. You’ll then be off on your own!

- Good level of physical fitness (you will be constantly getting in and out the van 100+ times a day)

- Flexible to the business needs and demands.

In return, you will receive:

- Weekly pay, every Monday (two weeks in hand)

- Van provided and fully insured (Mercedes sprinter OR ford transit vans. MANUAL ONLY)

Requirements for the job:

- Full UK or EU Driving Licence (manual only)

- No more than 6 points with NO active IN, TT or DR codes.

- Able to pass a drugs and alcohol test.

- Able to pass a criminal background check.

- Must have own transport to commute to Marchwood daily.

Have good verbal and written English
