Full Time Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
£46,000 - £52,000 per annum + 10% Management Bonus + fantastic benefits

Role Overview
As an Operations Manager, you’ll be eager to continue learning and building skills while working with talented colleagues.
Responsible for the operational performance and delivery of all the dental services delivered in Bupa Health Clinics. You will have responsibility of the Dental Service Managers, providing the leadership, management, support and strategic development of services. To work closely with Bupa Dental Care and act as an effective conduit for the BHC service whilst promoting a patient centred culture. Delivering Key Performance Indicators, including financial, clinical governance and patient and employee satisfaction.
What you’ll do:
Mentor Dental Service Managers, increase performance standards by setting relevant objectives and targets
Identify the opportunities to enhance services by challenging existing working practices, leading to the creation of new or revised practice implemented in the business
Drive commercial performance and cost saving of the Dental service line to achieve and exceed financial targets
Create a regional and service line specific dental product strategy, with a focus on driving digital transformation.
Work closely with Bupa Dental Care to align process and policy
Monitor and improve Dental governance and quality to support CQC registrations
Provide leadership and structure to engage with the Bupa Clinics Dental staff to make Bupa a great place to work
Action escalated customer queries and complaints maximising the opportunities to create high levels of customer satisfaction and drive NPS
To achieve key performance indicators of the department.
To be a true champion for the Dental product within Bupa Health Clinics – driving support and change.
To mentor Dental Managers to attain departmental performance standards by giving feedback and setting relevant objectives and targets. To create bespoke business plans for each centre with a focus on financial performance and NPS.
Creating clear and targeted operational accountability for Dental Managers with set and measured local KPI’s
Creating a performance management framework to support development and manage under performance.
To create a regional and service line specific growth strategy, with a focus on Capacity v Utilisation.
To create a clear approach to succession planning to minimise the business impact created by recruitment gaps.
To proactively identify the opportunity to enhance service by challenging existing working practices, leading to the creation of new or revised practice implemented in the business.
To inspire the wider dental team with a positive proactive attitude by providing a role model for the department and developing productive team working in terms of leadership and motivation.
To fully understand the Bupa Health Clinics business, products and the services
To fully implement governance and opportunity changes driven by BDC as appropriate.
What you’ll bring:
Experience within customer services
Experience within the Dental industry
Evidence of successful KPI delivery
Commercially astute and strong with numbers and data
Previous multi-site management experience and leading teams
Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft and Outlook
Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Customer Service Experience.
Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
Judgement Skills: The Dental Operations Manager has to consider and demonstrate sound business reasons for decisions and possess well-developed analytical skills. They must provide honest, pro-active, accurate and timely feedback regarding performance, giving guidance and encouragement to develop potential. They must be able to make real time decisions, demonstrating sound business reasons and customer empathy
