The GOSH Learning Academy (GLA) is the vehicle for the strategic and operational delivery of the education and training strategy for Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The aim: to be the first choice for multi-professional paediatric healthcare education, training, and development for the whole workforce, utilising state-of-the-art technology in contemporary learning environments.

Education and training provided to our staff remains pivotal to the experience of our patients. The children and young people attending Great Ormond Street Hospital are cared for by our entire multi-professional workforce-it is our role to ensure that our people have the knowledge, skills, and capabilities to provide the exceptional care that our patients require. Building on the success of our first three years we are now expanding our senior leadership team. Together the Director of Education, Co-Director of Education and the Deputy Director of Education form the GLA Senior Management Team and are responsible for the effective strategic and operational management of the GLA, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education within the resources available.
