ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Digital Marketing Executive you’ll be working as part of a global marketing team managing our brand, growing awareness of Webgains, and generating leads for the sales team. You’ll work across multiple marketing channels from email and social media to events and content.

ABOUT YOU

You thrive working in a team but can work autonomously and efficiently. You will be given plenty of training and support but also lots of responsibility in a small but agile team. You don’t need to have a background in affiliate marketing but experience working in multiple digital marketing channels is a must. You are not afraid to wrap your head around complex topics in order to deliver technical content for non-experts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Stay up to date with news and trends around ecommerce, retail, affiliate, and digital marketing

· Lead on content creation for our blog and collaborate with other members of the Webgains team to create thought leadership content and communication around our products

· Create content that incorporates SEO best practise as well as Webgains SEO strategy

· Design and create marketing assets and graphics for our social media, paid advertising campaigns, presentations, resources, recruitment efforts and more

· Assist in managing the Webgains brand and ensure that external collateral is created in line with our brand guidelines and tone of voice

· Manage Webgains’ English social media channels namely Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Tik-Tok

· Assist with our email marketing including regular client updates, marketing newsletter and product news

· Manage and build key media relationships and write and send out press releases and other relevant company or product news

· Manage and help create external-user content for our digital learning platform – Webgains Academy

· Supporting the wider marketing team in organising and executing both in-person and virtual events

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

· Extensive experience using Microsoft programs – Word, Powerpoint

· Previous experience in a marketing or copywriting role working across multiple digital channels such as email, social media, CRM, paid advertising, website, blogging

· Great written communication (English) skills and comfortable writing different types of copy for various marketing channels including blog, website, social media, sales presentations, e-books, how-to guides and more

· A good eye for design and understanding of the importance of branding

DESIREABLE SKILLS

· Comfortable with working with an array of software and online tools namely: Dynamics 365 CRM, Click Dimensions, Wordpress, WooCommerce, Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and ESPs like Mailchimp

· Experience designing creative collateral and brand assets following brand guidelines

· Video editing skills e,g, in Canva, Premier Pro, Camtasia or similar

· Social media management across multiple networks

· Experience working with external suppliers and partners such as media partners, PR and digital agencies

· The ability to harness data and generate reports for multiple stakeholders

· Experience of the affiliate marketing channel

· Experience working with Google’s products – Adwords, Tag Manager, Analytics

· Paid online advertising e.g. Google Adwords, social media ads, retargeting & display campaigns
