We are an M&E and construction business located in Sidcup, Kent. At Aura we in provide Mechanical and Electrical services from Design through to Installation and Commissioning across a multitude of sectors, with a core focus within the rail and aviation sectors. We are looking for a labourer/driver to assist with our daily operations. The role shall be predominantly driving, but with the expectation that the candidate shall provide labour support to site staff in the absence of logistics requirements.

Principal Duties

• Using a company supplied van, collect and deliver materials and equipment to our sites, predominantly in London and the southeast on a need to basis.
• Conduct waste clearances from sites to recycling centres.
• Carry out all other logistical requests from the management team.
• Maintain stores room and conduct inventory of stock.
• Assist our team of engineers and operatives with site installations, conducting labourer tasks where required.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and checks of company vehicle.
• Pass an airside driving assessment and medical examination to obtain an air side driving licence for our aviation projects logistical requirements.

Required Competencies

• Previous labouring experience within a construction-based role.
• CSCS card.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to confidently drive in unfamiliar locations.
• Able to obtain a clean, company sponsored DBS check.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
