We are looking for a Driver/Packing Operative to join us, working as part of a small, friendly team, based at our blind factory in Ashford, Kent. Conservatory Blinds Design & Manufacturing Ltd is a family owned, family run company, that has been trading for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on the quality and innovation of our products.

The role will include the following:

· Driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle to various areas of the country (not local)

· Packing

· Assembling small parts

· Using hand tools, including drills and saws

· Heavy lifting, dealing with goods received and goods out

· Following correct Health & Safety procedures

· Providing support to other departments including blind assembly.

Full training will be given but for this role, we are looking for a candidate with driving experience who has a full clean driving licence, who is flexible. A candidate with a positive attitude, good interpersonal skills and an eagerness to learn would be perfect for the role. A Fork Lift Truck Licence would be advantageous.

You starting rate of pay will be dependant on skills and overtime may be available paid at time and a half over 40 hours.

Working hours are 5 days a week (Wednesday - Thursday 8 am-5 pm, 1-hour break; Friday 7 am-4 pm. 1 hour break, Saturday 4 am to finish, 1-hour break, Sunday 4 am to finish, 1 hour break). Currently Wednesday to Friday will be based in the factory, Saturday and Sunday will be driving. Additional driving maybe required due to the needs of the business.

Annual leave is 28 days, including bank holidays.
