Job Description :

Due to a significant increase in the volume of new work, Clark Door is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer.

Overall Job Purpose
  • Responsible for wiring control panels, reading from wiring schematics or assembly drawings. Training available where required.
  • Required to safely wire electrical control panels to customer / engineering
specification, compliant with wiring and design standards.
  • Working to schematic wiring diagrams and General Arrangement Drawings, produce and assist in the production of electrical control panels, either working alone or part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic/electrical sub-assemblies from schematic diagrams, drawings or verbal instructions and following works order instructions to ISO9001 standards.
  • Wire and solder wiring harness and cable assemblies,
  • Perform limited troubleshooting and testing of assemblies
  • Ensures assembly/sub-assembly build times are met to maintain department
efficiency target of 100%
  • Ensures assembly/sub assembly build times are met for major project schedule
into integration dates and tooling/spares WO completion dates.
  • Carry out job tasks safely using good working practices.
  • Carry out all assembly work to the relevant department quality standards in line with health and safety requirements.
