Teledyne is looking for an Electronics Engineering Graduate to join its Lincoln Energetics business based at Sadler Road in Lincoln. Within this role you will design and development tasks in support of delivery of electronic modules to support ongoing development projects
You will primarily work with the Engineering Team to support the sustainment and growth of the Teledyne Energetics Business.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Part of the Teledyne Energetics group function in Lincoln, working within the Engineering team the Engineer is responsible for the execution of allocated design and development tasks in support of delivery of electronic modules to support ongoing development projects, including:
  • Liaison with design engineers and customers
  • Developing circuit designs using electronic CAD tools
  • Simulating the electronic performance of circuit designs using appropriate CAD tools
  • Analysis of reliability and failure modes using appropriate software.
  • Assembly and testing of prototypes devices
  • Adherence to international standards and company procedures
  • Contribute to generation of product data packs and special process instructions.

Qualifications

Essential Experience/Competencies:
o Good level of electronics engineering experience and circuit knowledge
o Adaptable, with good attention to detail and quality mind-set
o Good problem-solving skills with ability to motivate others
o Computer literate, using MS platforms such as Excel, Word, Outlook
o Excellent communication skills being able to communicate at all levels (oral and written)
o Ability to manage your own time and workload
o A good level of literacy and numeracy
o Approachable, flexible, rigorous, ability to work on own initiative
o Ability to understand and follow engineering drawings & technical instructions
o Good manual dexterity and experience in handling small components

Desired Experience/Competencies:
o Experience of working within an electronics engineering environment
o Experience in practical assembly, integration and testing of electronic components and related products.
o Experience of operating electronic CAD design tools.
o Ability to work within a team and on own
o Self-Starter
o Understanding of Systems Engineering philosophy

Desired Qualifications:
o Degree in a STEM related subject or equivalent experience
