Key Responsibilities

  • Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives, drives decision making process for issues outside established guidelines. Develops strategy and sets functional direction. Acts as a project owner within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams.
  • Interacts with Real Estate Transaction, Workplace Services, Region Leadership, Business Mgmt Office teams as well as local stakeholders across multiple businesses. Manage language & cultural boundaries. Interactions are typically global in nature. Leads discussions and participates in negotiations with code officials and community leaders/groups. Provides technical consulting and leadership to business partners and the entire GW team. Adept at delivering polished presentations of very complex nature to audiences of varied background.
  • Own and responsible to monitor capital investment for projects. Able to handle >$10M projects and desire to win.
  • Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
  • Manage projects that have a major impact on the work environment, must meet regulatory compliance, and represent significant cost to GW.
  • Drives decision making process for issues outside established guidelines.
  • May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams.
  • Oversight, expanding deliverables and enhancing the quality of workplace results
  • Developing and implementing space planning strategy and design details
  • Liaising with various global / regional team members to governor consistency across the region
  • Managing capital flash / actual spends and reporting on funding allocation
  • Drive all tender application process including design and construction
  • Design Management & Construction Management
  • Reporting on program performance to direct manager and EMEA leadership
  • Ensuring relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in corporate architectural, real estate project management or construction industry and a minimum of 10 plus years’ related experience; or Master's degree and a minimum of 8 plus years’ experience in the same fields. Advanced knowledge and experience in a specific workplace interiors, engineering, or construction management functions. Advanced experience in managing project activities, coordinating deliverables and managing schedules.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in corporate architectural, engineering, or construction management function is required. Experience in managing project activities, coordinating deliverables and managing schedules is required. The understanding of GW cross-function model and solid experience in corporate interiors, engineering and fit out construction is preferred.
  • Experience of working with wide variety of complex operational and commercial challenges
  • Full working knowledge of project circle, cost controls and schedule development and financial assessments
  • Proven working experience in real estate project management
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and to initiate follow-through with meticulous attention to details and high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify activities
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Experience in managing complex real estate capital projects in different countries within EMEA is a plus.
  • This position will require project travels within EMEA.
