Introduction and our Team

We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager to lead the definition, development and implementation of our new Energy Management System and future energy and power provision product roadmap. We are a new team looking to make a big impact in the fleet decarbonisation space and looking for innovative and experienced candidates who are willing to help build something incredible.

Our product team focuses on identifying the best solution for fleets both in the UK and internationally. We identify the solutions the market needs across software, hardware, energy management and data services and then lead the design and deployment of these to the market. While your role will focus on energy management our team collaboratively brainstorms and iterates solutions. We are passionate about people development and believe this culture brings out the best in our people and creates the best result for our customers.

Job Description

  • Responsible for leading the development of new product solutions from concept through development and to market implementation and launch – full lifecycle ownership for new products and features.

  • Take ownership of the energy management features and deliver your vision to serve fleet’s charging needs today and create features to serve future needs.

  • Co-ordinate with our hardware, data and software product managers to deliver a market leading offering

  • Develops products by identifying potential opportunities, conducting market research, generating customer driven product requirements, developing marketing strategies, and determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction.

  • Determines customers’ needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information and engaging directly with our customers.

  • Develop solutions through leadership of internal and external cross functional teams including but not limited to; Engineering, Software Engineering, Marketing and Sales, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to market

  • Lead optimal delivery strategy of the product roadmap – Build, Buy or partner based on strategic and commercial analysis to support the broader business ambitions.

  • Subject Matter Expert for responsible products providing source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.

  • Supports global sales team to develop product sales strategies and deliver critical customer engagement

  • Driving growth through 3rd party partnerships, to extend market reach and provide additional value to both our existing customers and potential clients.

  • Continual focus on innovation; identifying, assessing and managing new and existing product partnerships and their potential impact on future product strategy and the business plan

  • Working closely with Senior Leadership and team members to prioritise business initiatives, sign off new concepts and provide ongoing support progress updates on projects in flight

  • Development team is based across Europe (UK and France) – role will require some travel to support development of solutions.


Qualifications


Product Manager Skills and Qualifications:

  • Product innovation and development experience – IOT, Industrial automation, Energy sectors, grid networks,

  • Project management skills – experience of traditional and new methodologies but flexibility in implementation.

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex processes within and across teams

  • Customer focused

  • Commercial experience

  • Attention to detail

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Technical understanding to support product development

  • Leadership and team management – both direct and indirect

  • Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills

  • Organizational, planning, and documentation skills

  • Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously

  • Familiarity with Agile work management and/or the ability to effectively communicate complex processes within and across teams

  • Experience using System Applications and Products (SAP) software


Product Manager Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, or a field tied to the product’s sector (tech, finance, energy, etc.) required

  • Master’s in engineering or MBA a plus

  • 2-3 years relevant work experience – delivering complex solutions from concept to Launch

  • French language skills – not critical but a plus

  • Prior management experience a plus

  • Experience using Product Developemnt/Agile/Scrum methodology and/or workflow management tools
