Role Overview: Mechanical engineering for new carbon capture and utilization machinery deployment. Working on the establishment of Carbon Upcycling within the UK market with a key short-term focus on the delivery of a UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) supported project; The valorization of contaminated waste glass to produce locally sourced, low-carbon cement at the Cemex Rugby cement plant. Qualifications
● Preference is given to those with a mechanical, chemical or industrial engineering background with 3+ years of experience in an industrial/mining/cement manufacturing setting and or in clean-tech startups
● Preference is given to those with hands-on mechanical experience/skills/interest
● Preference is given to those with project management experience
● Experience with exposure to one or more of the following areas is preferred:
(motors, relays, overload protection, VFDs), and hydraulic fundamentals.
Willingness to travel: up to 25%
