Job Purpose/Summary: The role will include all aspects of service and
maintenance and will also include operator training on our gluing and cutting
machines. You will cover a variety of disciplines including electrical,
electronic and mechanical activities and be trained on the machines alongside
this. Off-site learning will take place in both practical and
academic environments.

Responsibilities/Key accountabilities:
Ensure machinery is operated within Health and Safety guidelines and departmental procedures
Work as an effective team member to meet
production requirements
Start machines to verify setups, and make any
necessary adjustments.
Ensure vigilance to any breakdowns and
malfunctions, reporting them immediately to the correct person.
Ensure that correct PPE is worn at
all times.
Contribute to Improvements in key business
fundamentals such as Safety / Quality / Cost / Delivery
Flexibility in attendance to suit business
requirements
Operator training on both gluing and cutting
machines
Knowledge,
skills experience
Excellent level of time-keeping
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and Team Leaders
Able to use own initiative to get a job done
