Job Description :

We are seeking to appoint an ELV Supervisor to work within the Facilities, Maintenance and Compliance Team to plan, programme, allocate and supervise Fire alarm, Emergency Lighting, Security Systems and other extra low voltage maintenance and improvement work as required utilising in house labour and contract labour as appropriate.

The post holders will hold appropriate qualifications to NVQ3 level in an electrical related discipline and substantial vocational experience.

Have an established track record and experience in an electrical discipline, experience of supervising groups of multi-disciplinary, technical, staff and contractors. Experience of producing reports and correspondence, and giving clear oral reports and experience of working to tight deadlines

The post holder must be proficient in Mechanical engineering regulations and best practice OR Electrical engineering regulations and best practice and must have working knowledge of:

    • Health & Safety legislation
    • Contractual practices and procedures
    • Man management and related Human Resources issues
    • Job, project and procurement
