"Fusion by JP Morgan" is a new strategic business initiative launched by J.P. Morgan Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB)'s Securities Services. Our vision is to deliver an end-to-end data platform, allowing buy-side clients to gain investment and operational alpha.

Core to Fusion's strategy is our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data solutions business to help clients better manage their ESG data and navigate complex ESG regulatory requirements.

Opportunity

As an ESG Product Manager in Fusion, you will have the opportunity to help build a new revenue-generating business from the ground up while collaborating with product leaders, data scientists and engineers with diverse backgrounds and industry experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Product Development
    • Assist with the product management lifecycle, including product ideation, requirements gathering, vendor engagement, roadmap execution.
    • Write product requirement documents to serve as a guide for business and technical teams to build, launch and market products.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Partner with internal stakeholders, such as Technology, Marketing, Client Solutions.
    • Facilitate client activities, including preparing presentation materials, pre-meeting and post-meeting communications, etc.
    • Investigate and respond to internal and external stakeholder queries on ESG data.
    • Engage with upstream third party data providers and vendors through written and oral communications.
  • Keep abreast of broader ESG developments and trends, as well as Fusion's competitor landscape.

Qualifications

Minimum
  • Preferred two years of experience in Finance, ideally in the context of ESG, financial data, and/or product management.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in STEM, Economics or Finance.
  • Functional knowledge of common programming languages (such as Python or R) and database languages (such as SQL).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable preparing materials for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Dedication to team effort and comfortable working in a start-up to scale-up environment - "whatever it takes" multitasking and perseverance.
  • Organized and diligent with a great sense of ownership and accountability.

Preferred
  • Demonstrable prior hands-on exposure and keen interest in AI/ML.
  • Prior exposure to ESG-related frameworks, such as SFDR, EU Taxonomy and TCFD.
