At Writtle University College, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join us. This role is varied and interesting. You will support the Finance Team by assisting with the daily operations of the University College’s Finance department.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be first point of contact for any finance related queries. Other duties include assisting with financial activities such as; accounting transactions, data entry, sales ledger, nominal ledger, purchasing & purchase ledger, purchase orders, and management accounts.
To succeed in this role, you will have experience of working in a finance department and are computer literate. You will have efficient administrative skills leading to a high level of accuracy and consistent attention to detail. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication skills and be confident when dealing with a wide range of people.
