JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can ensure a clear and coordinated approach to our finances that supports the Treasurer, Bookkeeper and Chief Officer. We will expect the post holder to take a pro-active approach to system improvement. In particular, the post holder will set up a coordinated internal process for budget and management accounts preparation, salaries and project funding, audit etc.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

1. Accountancy (or book-keeping) qualification or relevant experience

2. High level of IT literacy including MS Excel

3. Broad experience of financial management, accounting, reporting, and statutory requirements

4. Strong communication skills

5. Excellent attention to detail

6. Experience of Charity finance, and if possible Citizens Advice systems and Xero
