We’re looking for a Finance Officer to work as part of the Service Charges area of the Management Accounts team, within our finance function. You will contribute to the provision of a wide range of financial services including monthly management reporting, performance reports, statutory reports, and budget production.

This role will:

• Work agilely as part of a team to provide a professional and high-quality business partnering service to ForHousing and its group members.
• Provide support to the Senior Finance Business Partner – Service Charges to enable the delivery of month end, budgets and year end cycles.
• Support the maintenance of the accounting systems, setting up codes and posting journals, and carrying out routine periodic functions.
• Carry out financial reconciliations of control accounts and transaction analysis.

Candidates will have a good standard of general education, with a minimum of two additional GCSEs A – C, or equivalent, with previous experience working in an office environment, within a financial team. You’ll have experience of extracting data and information from IT systems, dealing with customers and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
