Within Technology, Data & Analytics our Financial Services practice is the UK’s leading data and technology team where you will have extensive opportunities to work with the largest and most influential financial services clients in the UK and Globally. The role
Risk management and compliance in Financial Services (“FS”) continues to be in the top three priorities for advisory spend and PwC are market leaders in supporting our clients in this space.
Our FS clients are driven by the need to further accelerate their risk and compliance transformation as a result of (a) market, (b) client and (c) regulatory pressures - all of which are impacted by the post-pandemic recovery, digital disruption and geopolitical uncertainty. You will be joining a team which leads in supporting our FS clients with Risk and Compliance related challenges. Specifically, through technology and data enablement, we are looking to enhance the way we offer our services to our clients to help them overcome complex regulatory and operational challenges.
The essentials
You will have experience of the unique complexity of the Risk and Compliance landscape within the Financial Services sector driven by regulation, global operations and legacy business. This will enable you to help solve our clients’ challenges through the use of technology and data analytics, focussing on the use of an array of delivery models and data-led methodologies. The candidate will have experience with driving the development of technology enabled assets and taking these to market across the FS sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the ideation and development of technology and data enabled assets to solve our clients’ challenges
Lead complex client engagements, engaging with senior stakeholders and regulators to solve problems in the Risk and Compliance space
Deliver added value to clients by providing knowledge, ideas and solutions for improving their management of Risk and Compliance
Integrate and embed a strong culture of technology and data-led thinking, supporting risk reduction and enabling rapid business insights, transformation and innovation
Ability to lead engagements and teams to deliver against key requirements
Manage delivery, and support the development of diverse and hybrid teams
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication to provide a clear articulation of policy and strategy, to report recommendations and engage with key stakeholders across both business and technology
Proactively assist in the delivery of business change and conduct risk transformation projects, which may include managing several concurrent client programmes, reporting progress to Senior Managers and above.
Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges, help firms to rethink their approach to risk and control and work with our clients to create robust and sustainable change.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and help identify opportunities to broaden relationships with new and existing clients.
Keep up to date with significant economic challenges and contribute to the development of your team’s technical acumen.
