Salary range: £19,893 per annum pro rata plus 5% non-standard working allowance

FTE: 0.5 (17.5 hours per week) term time

Term: Open Contract

Based on the John Anderson campus you will be an integral part of the Retail team within Catering services. As Food & Beverage Assistant (Retail) you will primarily set up and serve staff, students and visitors a variety of food and beverages. You love working as part of a team, and must be passionate about customer service and delivery of a wide range of catering services. You will be professional and work in a courteous manner, ensuring agreed Departmental standards are met consistently. Excellent customer service skills and a flexible approach to work patterns are essential. You must have the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative at times.


Varied work pattern of 5 days over 7, including evenings and weekends. 17.5 hours a week, 31-week term time contract.


Overtime is given based on business needs.


Formal interviews for this post will be held on 16 February 2023.
