ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a freelance Account Manager (or Senior Account Manager) to project manage the delivery of a big complex multi market piece of business. This person will be an instrumental part of a large team in helping get the project up and running – so someone who relishes the idea of creating a lasting infrastructure of successful ways of working.
The client project covers change management, employee engagement, media relations and digital brief across four geographical markets. With the ability to oversee multiple workstreams and manage a complex workback document, you will have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Importantly, you will be proficient at ensuring multiple workstreams stay on track and are delivered against deadlines – and be able to spot and manage when those timings need to be adjusted.
We are always keen to hear from people with different backgrounds but brilliant aptitude for problem solving and the world of brand and communications. Ideally, they will have worked in a busy agency environment with a sound understanding of agency processes and people management, plus:
Experience in leading busy B2B/corporate communications campaigns (UK and regional/global)- Experience in regional Hub working – management and interaction of markets, content creation and toolkits, data analytics and insights
- Ability to take a brief from ideation to campaign development and activation both locally and rolling out across multiple markets globally
- An eye for budgets, keeping spending on track and flagging issues in advance
- Understanding of the technology, cultural and geopolitical landscape and how this impacts communications strategies
- Employee Engagement / internal comms experience ideal
- Experience of working on integrated projects and the ability to troubleshoot and make creative suggestions across a range of channels
- Confidence in providing fast advice and counsel to clients and teams
- An interest and ability to make and hold strong personal relationships with clients, contacts and colleagues
- Ability to manage both up and down and organising their own and others’ work to ensure client success
