TT Electronics’ Bedlington facility north of Newcastle upon Tyne is the home of two TT Electronics divisions; Sensors & Specialist Components and Power Electronics. Sensors & Specialist Components are leaders in high reliability, high performance and engineered electronic components. Power Electronics provide custom power solutions for safety-critical applications in harsh environments. The team in Bedlington specialises in microcircuit production for the aerospace and defence industries.

A hybrid of working remotely from home and/or the Bedlington office, this role is responsible for the Finance function for one of our UK sites, including;
- Cash & treasury reporting
- Fixed & intangible asset reporting
- Lease accounting
- Accruals & prepayments
- Payroll reporting
- Intercompany recharging & reporting
- Revenue & COS analysis
- VAT returns
- General ledger reconciliations & reviews
- Assisting AP & AR
- Posting appropriate transactions to ledgers and review transactions posted by the Finance team
- Prepare, submit and review HFM management accounts for actual monthly data
- Maintaining management accounting processes
- Annual tax data reporting
- Liasing with external & internal auditors
- Ad-hoc duties as advised by FSC & Site Leads
The successful candidate must:
Be part / fully finance qualified- Have Intermediate / advanced Excel, Power Point and Word skills
- Have excellent understanding and working knowledge of accounting and reporting systems and regulatory framework
- Excellent problem solving & analytical skills
- Show the ability to support business planning in a shared service environment
- Have good communication skills
- Have the ability to work to strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Proficiency in multiple ERP systems and experience working in the manufacturing industry would be an advantage
