We are an escape room business based in the centre of Derby and are now looking for additional staff to work ad hoc hours. Reliability and availability are very important factors to us, and although we may not be able to offer lots of hours all the time, we do still need people to be available - the role would really suit someone with other self employed income from very flexible work, so they can work as and when needed, and their other jobs can work around that commitment. We're also looking for someone based close to our venue, and someone who is available all year round - i.e. living in Derby permanently, so if you're a student we'd need someone who would be staying in Derby over the holiday periods!

Your duties will be to welcome customers, give a briefing for the game, run the game (providing hints and clues when needed), de-brief with the customers when finished, then reset the room ready for the next group.

One of our rooms does include some live scare acting, so applicants need to be comfortable with this so we are able to give the customer a fun and exciting experience.

Additional responsibilities include being able to resolve issues that may arise during the game and a level of maintenance can be required when things break or develop a fault.
