About The Opportunity

As the Security and Political Officer will be a key member of Security Team within our Operations department and will support the Global Head of Operations in all aspects of our global security work. You will support on the security aspects of our work, coordinating and assessing security and political risks related to our legal programmes, assisting in team travel approval to high-risk countries and assisting with assessing physical safety and security in the office and on work-related travel. You will provide safety/security support to all staff worldwide and will make sure that ClientEarth complies with appropriate legislation in each country we operate in, using relevant global and local risk management frameworks. In doing so, the Security and Political Officer will have significant opportunity to develop and enhance their knowledge, skills and experience within the field of risk management for a growing international NGO.

Meet your Manager

In this role, you will be managed by Shuja Mohabatzath, our Head of Operations who is based in London. Shuja joined ClientEarth in 2015 after 22 years of working around the world for national and international organisations, such as Westminster Carers Service, NATO, and the International Committee of the Red Cross..
