Graphic Design Assistant - Marketing

This is a temporary position for 37 hours per week, based in Neath.

The role is to assist with the design of College advertising and marketing material, produce promotional footage through video and photography.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• To work with the Graphic Design Officer to create visual solutions across the College supporting the NPTC Group of Colleges brand;
• To proactively think of new ways to communicate NPTC Group of Colleges brand;
• To provide the knowledge and recommendations for the graphic design aspects of specific marketing solutions;
• To contribute to marketing activities such as events.

Requirements for this role

• Level 5 qualification in Graphic Design and/or have equivalent relevant experience
• Be fluent in the use of Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Acrobat
• Have experience in completing design work from start to finish
• Be comfortable working to tight deadlines and working in a busy office environment.
• Be IT literate to level 3 and hold a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent).
• Experience of shooting and editing video content and photography is essential.
