We're looking for a talented graphic designer who can not only take concepts and ideas, but follow the brand direction to create visual representations, for both print and electronic media:

• Product/packaging mockups in 3d and associated product graphics.
• Web assets like hero images, sliders, banners, infographics, photography etc.
• Slide decks and marketing materials.

We are looking for someone comfortable with both physical packaging and digital media. We will add video and podcast production (titles, graphics, editing etc.) into the mix within a few months.

Objectives of this role

The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple individuals in the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and bring them to creative life. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.

• Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
• Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines, and schedule a project’s timeline based on workload, which may include several simultaneous activities
• Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video

Responsibilities

• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize on a wide range of materials that may include websites, social media, presentations and packaging.
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
• Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
• Manage the design, saving and uploading to shared drives for all project materials, based on best practices for structure file saving.

Required skills and qualifications

• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
• Two or more years of experience (professional) with Design software, including Illustrator, Photoshop, XD plus Product visualization using CAD programs, After Effects & Premiere Pro.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills including strong English skills.
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects & Premiere Pro).
• Knowledge of WordPress, content management systems and online marketing, including email campaigns.
• Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software.
• Video experience, including titling.

Bonus skills and qualifications

• Experience with digital advertising campaigns, being responsible for the design and implementation of digital campaigns through Facebook, Google, Twitter or LinkedIn advertising.
• Experience designing websites using WordPress and Elementor page builder.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
