ReedPop is looking for an experienced, talented and motivated Graphic Designer to join our design team to work with our family of websites, events, brands and media partnerships.
In this key role, you will be working with some of the world's most recognisable and exciting video games and entertainment brands, licenses and IP.
Working as part of an experienced graphic design team led by our Design Director, the role will make key contributions to the creation of graphical content for the web, events, merchandise and a range of varied pop culture projects.
In addition to your design skills, communication across all our internal teams is key, so you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
Our focus will be on your portfolio, so that will form a vital part of your application, in addition to any prior experience.
Responsibilities Include:

• Design brand-driven content for our family of websites and events.

• Working as part of a team to prepare design projects for technical teams to then implement, event teams to put in venues, or merch team to print, in line with your designs.

• Create original, eye-catching and well-executed designs, to brief and strict deadlines.

• Collaborate closely with internal commercial and technical teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrable commercial experience in a relevant graphic design or artworking role.

• You must have a portfolio that demonstrates a dynamic, varied and well rounded skill set in graphic design.

• An interest in video games and gaming culture is vital in making creative contributions.

• Strong knowledge of industry standard design tools, Adobe suite, other packages such as blender, glyphsapp also a bonus.

• Excellent communication skills - written and oral - especially in communicating ideas and creative concepts.

• Well organised, delivering work to a brief and to a deadline, sometimes under pressure.

• Ability to work within the confines of existing templates, while still fostering originality.

• An appreciation for detail, finish, layout and typography.

• General IT fluency, Adobe suite, Google suite, etc.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Any exposure to clients, external partners, or experience in any agency role could be a huge help to your application.

• Some skills in media other than digital graphic design, such as video editing or print material is of interest, but is not essential.

• A degree or any higher education qualification in Graphic Design or similar is strongly preferred but is not essential. Your portfolio will be the main focus of our evaluation.
