Proactive, independent thinking
We believe there is an opportunity for us to become a more environmentally responsible business, and that this can be best achieved by expanding our thinking, to not only focus on better decisions internally, but also to look at the IT supply chain and work out how we can help our client organisations choose better, greener IT options. Internally, we’ve also subscribed to offset our carbon footprint, and we can of course implement changes to make our operations more sustainable, but we think we have the greatest impact by helping clients to purchase IT that’s more sustainable too.

We are seeking an intern, to carry out independent research into the IT sector, to help us launch a range of options that enable clients to make greener choices.

During this project you will:
  • Explore our current supply chain, understand how it works and how that translates to our clients
  • Evaluate our current suppliers assessing their social and environmental contributions
  • Research, evaluate and verify potential new suppliers with greener or more socially responsible claims
  • Consider how the services we supply could be better offset or made more sustainable
  • Work with our internal teams and speak to our clients about what matters to them
  • Help us to create a marketable proposition that allows clients to select more sustainable choices when it comes to their own IT use.
  • Help us establish ramsac as being a greener choice.
