Role Summary

Reporting to the Group IT Director, this role will ensure the resilience and availability of the IT systems.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize company networks, physical infrastructure and cloud services
• Oversee data backup strategies and DR plan testing
• Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software
• Resolve issues escalated by support team
• Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to data protection legislation and company policy
• Assist with helpdesk functions and ensure SLAs are adhered to
• Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via helpdesk and documentation
• Manage vendor relationships
• Software asset management
• Review and develop policies

Candidate Specification

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure
• Knowledge of staying up to date with current technologies and industry trends
• Advanced skills within problem solving and troubleshooting
• Proven experience of successfully managing to completion, challenging projects
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands on IT resources
• Proven experience within cloud computing environments
• Proven experience within monitoring availability and performance of infrastructure and applications
• Proven experience planning for disaster recovery and business continuity in relation to IT infrastructure
• The ability to manage and develop team members

This role is full time and works within a Hybrid office environment, with a minimum of 50% time spent within the office
