This is a great opportunity for a Head of Operations to lead on the performance and delivery of our award-winning integrated retirement communities. You will join the Senior Management Team at ExtraCare on a full time, permanent basis, and in return will receive a competitive salary of £93,800k per annum plus £6,456k car allowance and an excellent benefits package including:

As our Head of Operations, you will be at the heart of what we do and will live and breathe our commitment to providing unrivalled service standards to our residents, within an outstanding community environment.

What will you do as our Head of Operations?

• You will be responsible for all aspects of operational performance across our retirement villages and schemes, this will include Housing, Care, Catering, Wellbeing, Research and Innovation services.
• You will develop and implement operational strategies to support our Corporate Plan targets, setting annual milestones and ensuring delivery.
• You will lead on ensuring that our services are safe, compliant, and commercially viable through setting and embedding reporting tools that monitor and report on progress.
• You will lead the implementation of innovation and new services. This will include commerciality, income generation, community hubs, health and wellbeing services, and digitalisation.

Our ideal Candidate:

• We are looking for a highly effective leader who has worked at a senior level preferably with experience working within Housing Social Care or Health Services with a proven track record of driving and delivering results. Our ideal candidate will bring:
• Direct management of people and services with excellent leadership skills that can contribute to improvements through motivation and empowerment of people
• A passion for delivering quality services and making a difference to residents’ quality of life;
• A track record of improvements in performance and efficiency with a focus on delivery;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities; and
• Solid financial and budgeting skills, and business acumen.
