YOUR MISSION:

• As Head of UK at Getsafe you will be the driving force behind the UK market, you act as an entrepreneurial leader within our enterprise, working closely with other members of the Board of Directors from Getsafe UK Ltd.
• You take ownership of the growth and efficiency goals of the market, and are held accountable for achieving and measuring progress towards these goals.
• You are also responsible for the individual insurance product performance, ensuring success at every stage of the insurance value chain.
• To achieve these goals, you keep a close eye on the market, conduct thorough market research, identify trends and movements, and develop a deep understanding of the industry.
• You leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and improve the customer experience, focusing on securing transparency within the insurance policy, streamlining claims management, and delighting customers regularly.
• You are constantly working to enhance our market offering and ensure it meets the needs of our customers.
• In addition to leading the market strategy, you coordinate all operational activities across the different functional teams for your business with headquarters. This involves managing service providers and underwriters, aligning with distribution partners to improve our offering, and ensuring that we meet all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Finally, as a leader, you manage stakeholder expectations through relevant and regular communication. You foster a culture of collaboration and transparency, ensuring that everyone understands their role and has a clear view of the company's goals and progress.

ABOUT YOU:

• You should have at least 5-7 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, either in a tech-driven start-up company, a top management consulting firm, or a comparable role in the finance or insurance industry.
• You should meet all the requirements to successfully apply for a SM&CR application with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) . If you already work under SM&CR rules, that would be a plus.
• In your previous roles, you should have experience working in small, efficient teams and setting internal standards of success.
• Achieving growth while reducing costs should be a challenge that you have successfully performed in the past.
• You should possess energy, passion, and empathy and have the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
• You should have a strong business mindset and the ability to achieve ambitious and challenging goals.
• Fluency in English is a must-have skill.
