Grade UE05: £24,285 - £27,929 per annum

College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences / College Office

Full-time: 35 hours per week

Open-ended

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our College Office Team as the HR Administrator. You will be joining a great team in a busy and exciting role.

The Opportunity:

Responsible for the delivery of all operational Human Resources (HR) and contract related administration for the College Office. This will include co-ordination and administration of all procedures relating (but not limited) to recruitment, including support to selection panels; maintenance of individual HR files within the College Office and regular checks of documents in compliance with UKVI legislation; close liaison with the HR Operations team to ensure that College Office is fully compliant with University HR policies and procedures; co-ordinating end of contract processes. Act as ‘local guide’ for the People and Money system.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills, with ability to plan and prioritise, work without close supervision, and manage a range of projects simultaneously.
  • Experience of effective and accurate processing, monitoring and reporting using electronic tools and systems.
  • Ability to give clear and professional advice.
  • Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled user of applications such as MS Office, with a proven ability to learn how to use web-based packages.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
