We are looking for a HRBP to be part of our People & Culture team working closely with our People & Culture Manager on strategic initiatives such as succession planning; career development framework, engagement as well as supporting the wider HR team with any ER queries. You will be reporting into the People & Culture manager and support with implementing initiatives companywide to drive a High-Performance Culture. You will also be coaching and guiding our managers to ensure they have the right people management tools and skills to set themselves and their teams up for success.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and support on HR projects and initiatives in conjunction with the wider HR team to deliver the HR strategy.
  • Coach, guide and advise line management ensuring they are skilled and equipped to handle people management issues, including supporting in areas such as conducting investigations, appraisal process and absence management.
  • Support in delivering and developing effective talent management initiatives, including succession planning to develop key talent and drive retention and performance management.
  • Embed a culture of learning and development, ensuring mandatory training is undertaken and developmental training is encouraged looking after the end-to-end process and activities.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team on the reward strategy and any other reward related activities for the business.
  • Support the wider HR team and take a lead on any ER cases where required.
  • Ensure that all group and company specific policies and procedures are communicated.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture manager on Employee Engagement plans and lead the engagement initiatives/actions across the business using insight gained from the employee engagement survey’s.
  • Capture key data for monthly board reporting and provide regular updates to the People & Culture Manager.
  • Identifying, initiating & implementing improvements in processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Support on any other reasonable task requested by the People & Culture Manager to support the team and business priorities at the time.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proven HR generalist and HR Business Partner experience.
  • Experience in developing Talent Management and Learning & Development initiatives, leading on implementing initiatives, supporting and developing line managers.
  • Strong understanding of current Employment legislation and experience in managing complex ER cases.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to engage and build strong relationships at all levels and maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial.
  • Proactive team player who is able to foster and develop good working relationships.
  • Self-starter and independent thinker with a customer and solution focused mindset.
  • Work effectively on multiple initiatives and comfortable to make decisions and use independent judgement.
  • Strong Microsoft Office & HR System knowledge.
