About the job
Main duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Providing generalist HR support and advice to all UKI employees across the retail stores, the Chiswick Park Head Office, Swarovski Foundation & Waterschool and the warehouse, including employees working in the UK that report internationally
  • Supporting the Head of HR in successful implementation of the annual processes e.g., Annual Merit Review, UK statutory pay analysis and increases, Short Term Incentive Plans, Talent and Succession Planning
  • Providing advice on UK policy and procedure and employment law matters and escalating cases to the Head of HR/Regional HR Managers as necessary
  • Assisting the Payroll Manager with elements of payroll processing, as required
  • Monitoring and ensuring timely ER case management via employee self-service portal, ServicePoint
  • Liaising closely with the Global Business Services (GBS) team to ensure all administrative legal/contractual/compliance issues are completed and escalating cases to the Head of HR/Regional HR Managers as necessary
  • Supporting any ad hoc UK specific projects and, from time to time, global projects
About you
We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
  • University degree; CIPD qualified will be considered a plus
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in a similar role within a fast paced customer-facing UK HR department; experience in retail and hospitality industry will be considered a plus
  • Solid practical working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Works well under pressure and constant change
  • Comfortable liaising with senior managers on all HR issues
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow and Workday desirable
  • Some knowledge or experience of processing payroll
