We have an exciting opportunity for a role to support the IT Security and Resilience manager in the provision of an IT security services on behalf of EEAST taking every opportunity to protect against changes in technology and the threat posed by a varied group of malicious factors. To ensure compliance with the requirements of the DSP Toolkit and other national standards, guidance and legislation.

To support the design and delivery of the EEAST IT security infrastructure and associated technologies, tools and processes to support a robust IT service while maintaining operational effectiveness for EEAST IT customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible to define and agree an appropriate target security posture for EEAST – giving due regard to risks, threats and vulnerabilities while maintaining compliance with various standards in place (e.g. Data Security and Protection Toolkit, CareCERT, Cyber Essentials+ etc.).

This is an opportunity to be involved in ensuring that the current infrastructure, applications and datasets as well as new innovations and technologies meet the necessary security requirements and guidelines in order to protect the trust and it employees.
