We are looking to welcome a warehouse operative in our fantastic & growing logistics team.

In the IKEA world, we call this position a Goods Flow Co-worker.

Expected Starting Date: 18th March 2023

If successful you will be invited to one of our assessment centers on either the 28th February or 1st March.

WHAT WE OFFER

Hourly Rate: £10.90
Contracts range from 16 hours - 24 hours per week. You will work these over 3 or 4 days per week depending on contract size (in particular we are looking for people who can work shifts on a Monday & Tuesday). Shift length can vary from 4 hours up to 8 hours per shift. You will be required to work weekends, with 1 weekend off per month.

Due to IKEA Health and Safety requirements, we are looking for candidates who are over the age of 18.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

We are on the lookout for someone who has great communication skills, attention to detail and enables a successful shopping experience for our customers by ensuring that our products are in the right place at the right time.

Warehouse & order picking experience is desirable.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As part of the logistics team in a store, you will have the customers at heart, you will be picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online & in store collection or delivery. Your daily duties will be picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery. You will also be required to meet the customer in the store during picking. You will work with our internal systems to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times.

We expect you to take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers.

We are looking for someone who has good IT skills & a customer service mindset. You will have the ambition to grow within IKEA and to help develop others too.
