The Unique Opportunity:
Due to continuing company success and global expansion plans, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Industry Analyst (IA) in the UK.
As an Industry Analyst with Frost & Sullivan, you will contribute to the focus and content of our Information & Communication Technologies. The primary goal of the Industry Analyst is to produce high quality syndicated market intelligence deliverables (and/or custom). This requires utilizing market research methods such as primary and secondary data collection. Primary research, which implies dialogs with high level executives about strategic market information and perspective, is a core component of Frost & Sullivan’s methodology. The IA works seamlessly across different types of Frost products as an authority on the industry.The IA leads client presentations on specialist subjects and contributes to shaping the research strategy of the Program and supports the Sales Team on business development. The IA's focus is on further advancing market sector specialisation and developing business and strategy skills alongside being skilled at identifying growth opportunities in the specific industry.
As part of the analyst team, you will collect and analyze data on market conditions & business opportunities, author market studies, develop relationships and conduct interviews with major market players. You will also act as the lead/support analyst on custom consulting projects within the Information & Communication Technologies industry developing and presenting business strategies to our clients that range from global multinational companies to start ups. You will become one the foremost experts on the Information & Communication Technologies area. The successful candidate will also do proactive business development with new as well as existing clients.
Responsibilities:
Key areas include:
Primary and secondary data research collection, forecasting, strategic analysis. The IA is able to identify and analyse growth opportunities within their area of industry expertise.-
Develop research studies globally, which include market sizing, market insights, end-user research, startup ecosystem tracking, trends per vertical segments.

Quantitative and forecast model building (with high analytical input process) and Research report writing

Market analysis from both the demand and competitive sides, analyze future trends and market drivers, restraints and challenges

Monitor digital content services, including markets such as audio/video streaming, digital advertising, and social media platforms, among others.
- Evaluate the effect of the metaverse in digital content services and contribute to the industry forums discussions

Assist in client consulting assignments and analyst inquiry assignments. The IA Will occasionally play the role of a project analyst on advisory (GPAD) projects when required, and when he/she has specific expertise that can be leveraged. Will be part of a delivery team under a project manager.

The IA will build a presence on social media to showcase market expertise and thought leadership. Will take the lead on growth opportunity presentations focused on his/her own market expertise, deliver Analyst Briefings, and give press interviews.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Tech companies, Telecom operators, market research firms or consulting firms (at least one year)

Previous experience in the research analysis domain (at least one year) Based in the UK

Strong intellectual curiosity, an aptitude for understanding new and old business models, and the ability to see new trends or emerging structures

Ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines and following corporate procedures
